OnePlus presented their new flagship phone on 16 May 2018 at their own event in London. The new OnePlus 6 has an impressive new design, a lot of processing power, and a competitive price!

OnePlus has decided to fit this new high-end smartphone with a casing made of multiple layers of glass. On the front, you'll find even thinner bezels around the AMOLED panel. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 845 is fitted for all The Speed You Need!

6.28-inch AMOLED screen

OnePlus has incorporated an even larger display in the OnePlus 6, in a casing that's not too big. Very thin bezels surround the screen with a small 'notch' at the top for the main sensors and the camera. This ultimately results in a screen-to-body ratio of 84%!

As with the previous devices, OnePlus has chosen an AMOLED panel. This panel delivers very nice colours and a high contrast where black is really black. The screen has a 2280x1080 pixel resolution and an elongated 19:9 aspect ratio, so you can display even more content on your screen! Out of the box, the beautiful display is protected by the screen protector that is already added in the factory.

Glass casing in different versions

Where the OnePlus 5 and 5T still feature an aluminum casing, this OnePlus 6 comes with a very nice glass casing. The back consists of several layers of Gorilla Glass, which makes the phone sturdy and gives it a premium look!

Of course, you can also choose between different models. This glass casing is available in both glossy Mirror Black and matt Midnight Black. If you don't like it in black, you can also choose the Silk White model with a white back and golden accents around the frame. A red version with 128GB of storage space exists as well, a limited version that was temporarily available from July 10, 2018.

High-end performance

This OnePlus flagship phone can't lag behind in terms of speed, of course. That's why the Chinese manufacturer has chosen the Snapdragon 845. This is an octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.8GHz so you can perform any heavy task effortlessly!

OxygenOS for ultimate ease of use

Out of the box, OnePlus devices run on their own OxygenOS. With the OnePlus 6, this software runs on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. OxygenOS is designed not to burden your device unnecessarily. That means there are no unnecessary features installed, you can launch all your apps at lightning speed, and you can enjoy beautiful smooth animations without any hitches or glitches!

Storage space and RAM

You don't have to worry about running out of storage space with the OnePlus 6. You can choose between 64, 128 or 256GB of internal storage. There's an option for every kind of user!

The 64GB model comes with 6GB of RAM, while the 128 and 256GB models come with 8GB of RAM. With these large amounts of RAM, multitasking is a breeze!

OnePlus fast charging

Inside the OnePlus 6, you'll find a 3300mAh battery. Thanks to the smart software, efficient processor, and energy-efficient AMOLED screen, this battery lasts a long time! Charging is fast thanks to OnePlus' own fast charging technology! You'll have enough power to get you through the day in only half an hour of charging!

Dual camera for sharp and clear images

OnePlus has equipped this new high-end device with three good cameras with extensive features. On the front, a good 16-megapixel camera is fitted that comes with Electronic Image Stabilization for stable images and even a portrait mode!

The camera on the back is even more interesting. A 16-megapixel camera is fitted with a secondary 20-megapixel camera. The main camera has both OIS and EIS! You'll also have the possibility to film in 4K with 60 frames per second, or in super slow motion up to 480 frames per second.

Biometric security

There are several quick ways to unlock the OnePlus 6. On the back, for example, a very fast fingerprint scanner is placed that you can easily reach with your index finger. The phone also comes with face recognition. With Face Unlock, you can unlock your phone by simply looking into the front camera.
