I had to decide between this Xperia and the flagship class (i.e ZenFone) as there are no other competitive Android phones with a small screen size around anymore. Now, while you have to spend ca. 50% more money for the ZenFone, its size is more convenient (not so unnecessarily high) and its camera is noticeably better. Add to that the face unlock and more usable onscreen fingerprint sensor. So it is reasonably more expensive. On the other hand, the Xperia got an excellent battery - and its screen size is still small enough (for me) compared to the rest of the field. So I'm still happy with it given the much lower price tag. And can recommend it to others in a similar situation as mine.

This model is a perfect choice if you do not require high specifications like Xperia 5 series but do want one built to last with decent specifications that are not flimsy entry-level models.

Na 4 jaar was mijn oude Sony Xperia toe aan vervanging. Ja, na 4 jaar. Dik tevreden over oude Sony smartphone, vandaar ook gewacht op de nieuwst van Sony. Scherm en batterij blijkt na 2 dagen in gebruik te hebben goed te zijn.

Mooi kale Android, geen vaste apps op startscherm. Verder maakt Sony altijd prima telefoons, opmerkelijk dat niet meer mensen ze gebruiken, ligt niet aan de kwaliteit van hun telefoons. Ben al fan vanaf het eerste uur. Toen nog Sony Ericsson. Persoonlijk zou ik een iets kleiner model willen. Dus hopelijk komen de echte "compacte" modellen, met 5 inch scherm, en deze specs weer in hun assortiment. Tot die tijd is het een prima telefoon.
